To Stockholm City Reception (Stockholm City Hall--Stadshuset)

Stockholm City Hall (Stadshuset) is situated on the island Kungsholmen in the centre of Stockholm.

Bus
Bus number 3 and 53 stop right in front of the City Hall at Hantverkargatan 1. The bus stop is called Stadshuset.

Metro
The closest metro station is Rådhuset (the blue line). The Workshop and Tutorial participants can take the blue line from Kista centrum station to Rådhuset (direction Kungsträdgården). You walk 5 minutes from the stop Rådhuset to the City Hall.

You can also take other metro lines and get off at the Stockholm Central Station (T-Centralen). It takes about 8 minutes to walk to the City Hall from the Central Station.

To Conference Welcome Reception (Nordiska Museum)

Nordiska Museum is located on Djurgården, on the right side after Djurgårdsbron.

Bus
Bus number 67, 76, 69 or Tourist Line. Bus 67: Stop Nordiska museet/Vasa Museum. Bus 76 and 69: Stop at Djurgårdsbron.

Metro (underground/tube)
Red line to station Karlaplan. From there a 10 minute walk or bus 67 to bus stop Nordiska museet/Vasamuseet.

Tram
Line 7. Stop Nordiska museet / Vasa Museum.

Ferry
There are three options: a line from Slussen, over the summer also to Nybroplan, and a line from Hammarby Sjöstad and the Viking terminal. The simplest is to travel from Gamla stan from Skeppsbrokajen, a 10 minute ride through Stockholm's marina that ends at the Gröna Lund amusement park, which is about 10 minutes walking to the museum.

Car
There is a limited number of parking spaces adjacent to the museum. Disabled parking is available at the museum's northern short side, the one facing Strandvägen.

Bicycle
Bicycle paths are available all the way.

To Conference Dinner (Vasa Museum)

Vasa museum is located on Djurgåden, very near the Nordiska Museum.

Walking or cycling
It’s easy to walk or cycle to Djurgården. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the city centre, and about 10 minutes to cycle.

Tram
The easiest way to get to the museum is by tram. From the Central station or Kungsträdgården, take tram number 7 towards Waldemarsudde.

Bus 67 to bus stop Nordiska museet/Vasamuseet.
Bus 69 to bus stop Djurgårdsbron.
Bus 76 to bus stop Djurgårdsbron.

Metro

There is a small car park near the museum, but it is often full. It's easier to find parking on the other side of the bridge. Disabled parking is located outside the main entrance of the museum. Please note that parts of Djurgården are closed for car traffic occasionally during summer.
