Deadline is extended to 1 December, 2018.

The European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) 2019 will be held Saturday, 8th June until Friday, 14th June 2019 in Stockholm and Uppsala, Sweden. ECIS aims to feature several workshops on the 10th and 11th of June 2019 prior to the start of the main conference.

We invite the IS community to submit proposals for full-day or half-day workshops by 1 December, 2018 (at the latest) to the Workshop Chairs.

Please send an email with your workshop proposal using the template provided here ECIS2019_workshop_template (593 Kb) . The idea is to give early feedback to proposers about similar workshop proposals and enable them to consider merger potential ahead of time. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or raise any issues you may have.

Decisions to accept/reject workshop proposals will be made by the Workshop Chairs in consultation with the Conference and Program Chairs. The number of workshops may be limited due to space limitations.

The organizers of accepted workshops will be responsible for the reviewing process and publicity (e.g., website and call for papers). They will be required to cooperate closely with the Workshop Chairs and the ECIS 2019 local organizers to finalize all organizational details.

Workshop attendees must pay the ECIS2019 workshop registration fee. If workshop attendees would also like to attend the main ECIS conference, they must also pay the conference registration fee. Workshop registrations and payments will be made via the Conference registration system, and payments to the facilities will thus be taken care of by the local ECIS organizers. Of note is that local organizers may require that all workshops adhere to specific requirements regarding the general timetable, registration and catering.

Workshop organizers must inform the Workshop Chairs of the number of submissions and acceptances as these numbers become available. Please note that the duration of the workshop might be adjusted based on the number of submissions received and that workshops may be cancelled due to a lack of submissions or registrations at the early registration deadline. Only accepted workshops are official ECIS2019 workshops and will enjoy support from the organizing committee.
